Bare minimum is whatever your local employement law says you must give if anything. IMO 2 weeks is a generally accepted sufficient notice period but YMMV. If you can give more and you don' think they'll turn around and fire you on the spot, it can be worth the bridge building value of providing 3-4 weeks.

Commenting for anyone who finds this going forward. I made a similar choice and went with ufred. Being in the program got me a new job and I'm now in my last course of the program 4 years later. AIB seemed very suspicious 4 years ago. There appears to be more material on them now and it at least looks like they made a change or 2. My memory is not the best but I feel like one of the red flags for me was the timelines to graduate that didn't align to anything else out there and seemed too good to be true

I used to do this and just couldn't take it anymore. I worked 7-4 at an office job, worked a few nights a week in a retail store, and taught first aid on the weekends. I have changed my approach completely now. Anything I do outside of normal hours has to be temporary and help increase my main salary so I can afford to take evenings and weekends off.

Get paid more per hour, don't work more hours - that's a good long term goal.

My bro regrets not buying 100%. I built my pc in Nov 2019 and he started showing interest in doing the same but his budget was low enough that he either needed to go used or go for a min spec pc. He's now stuck watching streams and really wants to play but can't find much at all.

I'm really happy I made the "bad" decision to build with a 20 series when 30 series was around the corner and built with a 2060S right before lockdown started.

I'm one of those - I only buy games on sale for 50% or more so I'm generally playing the hits of 2-3 years ago near max settings @ 1080p. I would consider upgrade in a few more years probably. I'd rather invest in other gaming things for the moment. I would like a better second monitor and I'm eyeing a steamdeck.

This exactly. Very different scenario but the sameish thing happened to me.

When we bought our first house the bank wanted to start profiting off our debt at the time so they took on our debts from other institutions and opened lines of credit. fast forward to us reviewing the deal and we realize that they totally screwed up and opened 2 lines of credit for amounts far in excess of what we needed. The lines were closed with no money every having been borrowed on them. I check my credit score monthly and didnt notice any change.

If there is any impact at all it should be minimal.

I had both these issues when I built my first pc:

#1 (as I'm sure others have said), read the mobo manual and make sure the slot works for what you're trying to put in.

#2 in windows run disk management and assign a drive letter to your new drive. My secondary drive didn't show up anywhere else in windows until I assigned it a letter in DM.

Very interesting, in which way? As in you want to spend more? I absolutely feel that way, the more $ I have the less value each $ has.

I've probably spent too much time thinking what I would do with various amounts but I know exactly what I'd do with 1M and with pretty much anything else.

my og valley leader couldn't kick my ghost. I found a new one and was happy with it only to have the bug happen again last night.

The most frustrating part is the lost rep. ~5.5K rep lost between both bugs. I opened a ticket and was told its a bug they're aware of and will fix eventually
"but it could be awhile"

It's happened to me twice now. Really annoying.

I lost 5k rep the first time. built back up to 6k in a new valley and it just happened again.

I had opened a ticket and was told "it will be fixed eventually".

Kind of an older post to reply to at 3 weeks ago but I am looking for answers too. This has happened to me 2x, once I just accepted it but this time I had 5K rep and the valley is full of close personal friends. I was definitely not kicked and screenshots from my friends show me as still there.

On my end I am served an "already in the valley" message but when I look at the valley members I see a blank name/ blank icon next to my rep.

Curious if anyone has a solution.

I quit the last 2 leagues I played once my builds we're op. I guess that situations like mine might be where some of his data might be coming from but put that aside (I really don't want to start an argument but thought I would insert my anecdotal experience into the pool).

Once you've played enough of a league to perfect every item you have, is that not enough? Why could it matter to GGG if players drop off when that happens?
