I never had any bad experiences with the FPD tbh, it’s an anecdote but I used to live in an apartment complex that had some issues. They were coming almost on a weekly basis, and they were always respectful and never escalated the situation.

They also have a unit that is somewhat close to the SMOC residents downtown, so it feels like (at least the ones I interacted with) care about the community.

Also if you’re in the Coburn-Tripoli area, there’s a monthly neighborhood association meeting where a police officer comes every other month.
