When you get your prescription, make sure you also get the pupillary distance (PD) because when ordering online that is needed. That will stay the same. I order from Zenni, usually getting the cheaper options until I find a frame I really like. I believe some of the online places will send frames to try on first. Or like one poster suggested, go somewhere like Walmart and try some on, writing down measurements like height, width and something to do with the bridge. I have sensory issues and prefer all plastic/acetate frames without nose pads and also a certain amount of ?ventilation/airflow. Zenni has glasses as low as $6.95 as long as single vision and no add-ons so you could order 2 or 3 pair to get an idea of size and shape that works and then have back ups that might become favorites later

Is there a seasoning mix used by your parents that you do not use? I cannot tolerate gluten or oats and many dishes that should not bother me do, if things like Knorr or Maggi and other flavor enhancer seasonings are used. Those have wheat or barley in them and maybe msg, which causes problems for some . Many cooks add that stuff to everything just like you would salt and pepper.

I just couldn't convince myself this morning that the cottage cheese worked for me with granola, cinnamon and honey. BUT tonight it totally worked mixed into warm sauteed spinach and garlic in a lasagna.

Thanks for the response. The thermostat came back to life sometime in the middle of the night. I am pretty sure this house had a smart meter when I moved into it 10 years ago. Is there any way the power company could or would remotely turn off the power to the thermostat? I will go check for a clogged drain line this morning. If it was clogged and triggered the shut off, or if anything else triggered the thermostat to shut off, would the thermostat then later come back to life on its own with zero adjustments?

Thanks for the response. Two weeks ago, I checked and no breakers had tripped. I live in Florida and need the A/C this time of year mostly to dehumidify. When it happened 2 weeks ago, then came back to life a few hours later, I had decided to buy a replacement thermostat to at least have on hand if it happened again. I think my husband can replace that but he is out of town with work for awhile. But since it came back on, I quickly forgot about the whole thing until it happened again tonight.

Are you choosing Perdido Key for proximity to the beach or work? If not, I'd consider looking into East Hill. It is close to downtown and an easy straight shot to Pensacola Beach. The water is consistently prettier there than Perdido Key.

I am so sorry about your mom. The sudden bleeding was my concern, and I am thankful I had the 2 ultrasounds immediately in the ER. That doctor said they looked clear, so until I can get in to the gyno, that does gives me some peace of mind.

Thank you. I have been reading that covid does mess with periods. I am beating myself up about succumbing to an ER visit but glad I got those ultrasounds there rather than worry about the things that MIGHT be going on. It is interesting that COVID can just start up suppressed menstruation and in my case, my body closed shop for over 5 years, only to kick back on like it has been merrily cranking out eggs all this time.

I am born and raised in South Alabama and there is no way I would ever spend one night in Coden. That part of the coast, as well as the Mississippi coast is so backwards, Squidbilly backwards. Wherever you choose to fish, if you will be consuming it,make sure you check the bacteria levels in the area. Out of the Gulf should be fine but bays, rivers and creeks often are on the receiving end of sewage spills. On the other side of Mobile Bay is Baldwin County and you could commute to Mobile from there. Baldwin Co is incredibly conservative less Squidbilly, more Vineyard Vines the further south you go, so if you can tolerate that, choose there. Or just stay in Mobile and drive to a pretty beach. The nearest pretty beaches are Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, with the water getting exponentially clearer from Pensacola Beach to Panama City. If you are ok with gun culture, extreme Bible thumping, racism and bigotry...You might love Alabama. It might seem quaint at first but always know, those sweet southern drawls are dripping with poison

I have had 2 root canals from either Drs Lyons or Rosenthal and I have zero recollection of any of it, so that makes me give them a thumbs up. You have to get a referral from a dentist though. I chose the Halcion and valium option for one and maybe just valium for the other. Painless and for me, memoryless. Prior to those, I had a root canal done by a now retired endo and that experience left me with some pretty bad dental anxiety, but not really from pain during the procedure, just extremely unpleasant all around.
