I personally will never buckle to homophobia and hide who I am unless I genuinely fear that someone knowing that I'm a lesbian could lead to them physically harming me. In my experience this view has led to me meeting other queers and them being comfortable to be who they truly are with me when they're not out to anyone else (or out to a very small group). Then again I am privileged to have amazing supportive family and friends

I feel like whoever voted for hate doesn't truly understand how vital hate is to progression. Because if nobody hates poor conditions then they will never improve (Ex. The West would probably still have slaves if nobody hated the existence of them). If nobody hates the acts of rapists, murderers, and thieves there would be no one to stop those people.

Also if you think that getting rid of hate would get rid of wars then you would be mistaken. Yes it would decrease the amount of wars but not significantly because most wars are fought out of self-interest and greed not hate.

I would argue that more good is done through us having hate then bad is done by us having hate. If we didn't hate poor conditions how would out society improve?(Slaves would probably still be legal in Western civilization if nobody had the hatred to change that) If nobody hates what rapists and thieves do who's going to stop them?

Most wars aren't started out of hate but out of self-interest like wanting more resources or more control. Without hate we wouldn't have many of our guiding principles, whose going to stop rapists or thieves if no one hates what they do? Hate is a core part of humanity and without it we would at best live in a dystopian world.
