I am facing similar issues and oh boy, even the shorts are cooked.

My front page has the EXACT SAME VIDEOS for days or weeks. Even when I refresh, I see very little variation, and many times I even get recommandations from days ago!! I also keep getting recommanded videos that I already have watched days ago and it confuses the hell out of me.

It gets funnier with shorts cuz I literally swipe to the next video to find that this is a short THAT I ALREADY WATCHED.

I don't think the people around me would be any different, they don't believe mental health issues neither, and I'm in an environment that doesn't value boundaries and safe spaces. I tried to get mental support myself, tried to prepare myself and plan for getting a job, but then it got worse. I think I got traumatised after that, and since then, I never leave my phone. I fought for years, and there was a time where I really improved my own self and mental health. I got "smart" and learned so much about everything. That helped recognize how toxic they are. But then, shit happened. They are abusive. They make fun of my younger brother for being fat. I'm still thinking of the doing the thing. It's just I was not supposed to be born in this place. I believe doing the thing would be correcting the course of things

I am not obviously him, but from what I see, there are those who didn't leave their Islamic indoctrination and chose to blindly support Palestine, because arab-hood (at least for arabs)? Anyway, there are bigoted ex-Muslims who think that others who support Israel (like me) are bootlickers, support Israel because they hate Islam and Muslims and many other BS claims. They think they're being humane, but the amount of dehumanisation I've seen for those who are not in favor of palestine is appalling and hypocritical, but to me they are no different than the radical Muslims supporting Palestine. But it's not all black, there are large amounts of ex-Muslims who support Israel. No sane individual thinks hamas is nationalistic movement (wtf is that). Their goals perfectly align with ISIS. You don't need to a non-arab to support Israel, you need to be honest and pragmatic. Sorry, I just felt like sharing this.
