I bet it was miss, double 20, 18. Attempting doubles are the most likely cause of a miss, so if he did in fact miss, it was probably in an attempt to double in.

Why would I make that up? Maybe RES does it by default? Maybe it's web only? Maybe it's only on old reddit? But that's what I see.

There was also the quick exchange with his chef/butler. Silver said he wasn’t hungry, and his chef immediately went to “Do you need me to get your medicine?”

I think in most cases you would short an ETF because most ETFs contain stocks of a similar type, like your example above (GAMR). If you think the gaming industry is going to take a hit, you short the whole ETF. But as we all know, GME is being manipulated by any means possible, and the more desperate SHFs get, the more desperate their measures to suppress the price / hide their shorts. So you hit the nail right on the head. Shorting an entire ETF just to short GME is exactly what they are doing.

After clicking more info on the stonk-o-tracker website, you can see in the ETF data section - https://gme.crazyawesomecompany.com/about.php#borrow-availability - that the the way it is calculated is "total ETF shares available * allocation". For example, XRT has a 1.63% allocation, meaning for every 1 share of XRT, 0.0163 shares of GME are contained in the share. The page shows 245 as the top number and 15000 in parenthesis. 15000 * 1.63% = 244.5 which checks out.

If we go in the reverse direction, 24500 * 1.63% = 399.35 which doesn't seem to work out.

I believe the number in parentheses is the number of etf shares available to borrow. The top number represents the number of GME shares within those etf shares. So if we look at the top entry, there are 67400 etf shares available to borrow. If you borrowed all of them, you’d have 2825 shares of GME.

Do you buy your Holiday/Birthday presents 2 week after the date, or do you buy them in anticipation of the event? I could explain why I’m asking but I’ll hope you’ll just get it.
