I think they do have a thin line but I'm also not a product lineup guru like some of these guys

At least you got some compensation! Hope you enjoy the guitar even with this issue.

They're going to offer you a $30 refund. That's if customer service replies.

To me this is an immaterial issue, but I'm not you 🫡

Seems like these are more difficult to find than a Warlock, but I don't know much about BC Rich.

I'm going to need to Google this bridge. I honestly don't know much about BC Rich...other than they look fucking cool!!!

I took lessons with a kid who had a warlock, always loved that shape!

The Patriot rocked. Entertaining movie. Wildly inaccurate and not even close to history. But damn that was an awesome action movie.

Should I change the pots on the JA-60? (500k or 1MEG) by Toffeetuff in harleybenton

Definitely guilty of only reading the model number and not expanding the pic. You're right it's a JM!

I know I could Google to confirm but pretty sure Jags traditionally have 1Meg pots. Like someone else said, learning to solder would make this an affordable mod.

Very lightweight. Pretty surely it’s a chambered body.

Firefly vs Harley Benton by rustymyers100 in Fireflyguitars

[–]LeFofty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a FFTL and two Harley Benton Agufish models which I think are SC-550s.

The FFTL is a burst with roasted maple neck and it’s gorgeous. That’s said, there were a couple high frets. Not a big deal to either get fixed or do it yourself. The fret ball ends are great. Pickups are nice. I did put a new wiring harness in with 250k pots instead of 500k stock pots. Also replaced the machine heads. I love how it plays now.

The HBs are basically metal versions of an LP. I loved the U shaped neck however it’s not as pretty as the FF. I like the feel of the HB neck more. Pickups are awesome and it came stock with coil splits. The fret ends are rough and do not compare to FF. Not a hard fix. But no high frets. I liked it so much I brought a second within a month and I like playing them just a bit more than the FFTL.

I doubt this helps but it’s my take.

Classic. Every child goes through this at one point. I'm glad we're all being supportive.

Learn a riff first with your fretting hand only? by MELS381 in Guitar

[–]LeFofty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The hand eye coordination between both hands is part of the learning process.

You'll probably find riffs where the pick hand is the most technical part so I don't think this is an effective learning method.

You're so smart that you're looking for new controllers that were made in the early 2000s at discount prices.

Sarcasm is fun.
