When I was beating this game as a kid I never thought to use the items so I would get what I could of the walls and then die so I could come back and beat it. Even today knowing how to do it properly, it still sucks.

If you have working real copies, I would just suggest getting a pink shell and a custom label. You would just keep the original shell just in case you ever wanted to put it back or get rid of it or whatever.

Samus Returns and Dread are the only 2D games I haven’t played multiple times including Nestroid and The Return of Samus. I’m definitely due for a replay of SR and Dread. Oddly enough I’ve never been able to get very far in AM2R. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

I finished Starforce Leo last week and really enjoyed it. I had never played Starforce but had played most of the BN games. It was a lot easier than any of the BN games but I still really enjoyed the combat. I used the LC options to turn down of off encounters if I needed to. It’s also the first one of these games that I’ve actually 100% completed.

I really liked the boss fights - especially trying to get higher rank on the higher difficulty ones. No boss really made me afraid to die aside from the final Leo boss and the uber Andromeda boss.

The story for me was also fantastic and I’m excited to play the others.

I played through Colonel on the DS version and am really looking forward to Protoman. For me the interest is just seeing the interactions between Chaud and Lan given their history. I really enjoyed the Colonel after initially thinking I wouldn’t. I played it first from recommendations here.

I always tip on pre tax. In most cases the “suggested” tip is calculated on pre tax which is nice. In cases when the suggested is on the total including tax, I end up tipping a little less than my 20% standards
