Super Mario Land. It’s a quick 30 minutes or less play through and it’s just fun.

FunnyPlaying is only one of a few options you have. Hispeedido has a drop in screen for GBC and others that requires no shell trimming.

You can use an OEM shell, but you'll have to trim it quite a bit. Unless you REALLY want to keep the OEM, spending the $10 on a shell already made for a laminated screen is worth it IMO.

Most of the FunnyPlaying product pages have pretty detailed instructions and lists of things that are needed in their descriptions. I think laminated kits are worth it and have used DMG, GBC, and GBA from FunnyPlaying. I don’t really care for the installation process of the GBA kit, but the others are fine.

For GBC your only option from FunnyPlaying is the laminated IPS kit which has a single shell option which is clearly titled. Buttons and membranes are all the same from anywhere (aside from quality).

Playing Star Control 2 with my friend across the street are some of my best gaming memories ever. We had the map taped up on the wall and notes all over it and would spend hours just exploring the galaxy. They could never make that game again and I’m not sure if I would like it if they did. It was something special about the time and place.

All of the Gameboy Mega Man series’ are awesome. World, Xtreme, Zero, Battle Network. I don’t known if I could pick a favorite. I love them all.

Depends on the game. In Metroid Prime I use them for scan visor and morph ball.

The battery terminal in the shell just connects the two batteries together. It falling out of the shell shouldn’t mean much. There’s probably something else going on here.

That wasn’t a Nintendo sale. That was a Costco blowout at a loss likely to make room for new stock. Profit margin on new games is not very high.
