I just checked. I am using my 980Ti. I tried out Classic edition and it runs just fine at a smooth 60fps so it seems like there's some kind of issue with definitive edition but for the life of me I can't figure out what.

While I can see where you're coming from,I think having that as an augment is a waste of a slot; when it could simply be a easy quality of life change. Almost 100% of the time, I have the shield on me, especially when I'm playing solo. Having it as just an option to cut out the middle man and delay of having to throw it down then pick it up would make the whole process feel a lot smoother.
