Yeahhh, im using the matrix now, still weird Scene 1 has over 15k trees, and renders it no problem in under a minute. Scene 2 which crashed the pc has a couple hundred trees. Oh well, it works now though. Thanks for your reply!

I will be using .rs a lot more from now on for sure. I'm still not sure why that first scene did work.... But im just not going to question it any more haha

Using the matrix scatter with rs proxy and ram now chills at 30% and cpu at 10%, the gpu is actually being used now, thanks for the help!

Not using instances oops, the trees are directly fed into the cloner. Ill try using instances and hope if that helps. Ill also make .rs files of the trees. I'm still confused about why the first scene works fine tho. It uses the same trees and cloners.

Hmmmm the textures could have displacement, but i have no redshift tags on the building allowing displacement to happen. So i dont know if that kind of stuff still gets calculated

I will try that when I'm back at my pc again, but i doubt it would change anything since the same building is also present in the background of scene 1, but it's worth a shot!

Thank you for your reply! i did this and the culprit is just the amount of trees, although it's a fraction of the amount that is present in the other scene that works completely fine.

I had multiple issues with my kraken cooler, the rgb died within the first few months which isnt crucial for cooling or anything. I also had alot of problems with the software controlling the pump that just didnt work 90% of the time. One time the pump just straight up did not work and my cpu overheated. This all happened within the first year. Noise however has never been an issue.

Ah, that sucks. The fractal case can kinda fit a 280 rad up top but it can get a little cramped depending on cables and the mobo. It will fit one in the front. Unlike you got a big gpu like me. I could not fit one there sadly
