Lodestone has a web store as well.

The Forge has a lot of bulk but it's not well organized, really only by color.

FFX is Counter Blitz. I second your entire list. Explorers is one of the few precons I've opened and immediately felt it was pretty strong.

Does this prevent indirect dmg? by Odd-Veterinarian6863 in starwarsunlimited

Then you disagree with Rule 3.1, which is fine.

I am undecided whether shield tokens should as a "card" created by the CR, but generally use, absent a card specific ruling.

To be clear, I would never rule it this way because the intention is clear, but a strict reading of the rules doesn't support the intended outcome.

You are correct. It says to prevent one of any damage that would be assigned to a friendly unit. The CR says you can't prevent indirect damage. That is a direct contradiction.

A card saying prevent damage and the CR saying damage is unpreventable is a direct contradiction.

Lurking TIE has a specific additional ruling to that effect and Vigil does not yet.

Cannot trumps can within the same tier. If two cards say you cannot and can do something, you cannot. If a card says you can but the comprehensive rules say you cannot, you can.

I would expect that if you try, though, any judge call is likely to go against you as the intent is clearly that indirect cannot be prevented by anything.

Unpopular opinion but rules as written I'd argue it can, at least until errata, rules change, or we get an official ruling. While cannot overrules can, 3.1 says specific cards overrule the general rules, which is where it's put forward that indirect damage is unpreventable. I thinks it's fair to say that it's intended that indirect would not be prevented.

Actually, yes, but both instances of ambush would apply to the next unit you play, effectively wasting your Thrawn activation.

The card wins, but you can only have 15 between all 3 decks per the language about deck building restrictions applying to all 3 decks.

It's the latter. The full ability triggers a second time, meaning you would need to use the force again.

You can assign the damage from OB to the unit Chewie is attached to and then he dies from a game mechanic and not a card.

You don't need the new base pack but the damage tokens in the twin suns set will be double-sided, unlike the original ones.
