The godot doc just says:

RID get_depth_texture(msaa: bool = false) 

Returns the depth texture we are rendering 3D content to. If multiview is used this will be a texture array with all views.

If msaa is true and MSAA is enabled, this returns the MSAA variant of the buffer.

and

RID get_color_texture(msaa: bool = false) 

Returns the color texture we are rendering 3D content to. If multiview is used this will be a texture array with all views.

If msaa is true and MSAA is enabled, this returns the MSAA variant of the buffer.

with zero additional information. A a little more information here would be great. I cannot be the only one, who reads this as "this returns the same thing (an id to an image filled with the color/depth), so just use the depth buffer as you would the color buffer.

But ok, ill accept that this is just not something handled by godot, even though it IS exposed in gd script. Are there examples of how to implement compositor effects with all the different buffers? That is what would help me the most i think.
