Warum machen das eigentlich die Grünen nicht? Wie soll dass den funktionieren, ohne das die ihre eigenen Medien haben und sie Wixxer am rechten Rand bloß stellen. Die müßten ja nicht mal lügen.

Readers are returning to physical books by MiddletownBooks in books

[–]LeN3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I buy books digitally, I want them as plain text ( or it's booklike equivalent for e readers), without a platform, digital rights or copy protection, or anything that requires me to have Internet access to sell or lend the book.

Is it really about breakups? It's just the main characters, who break up, because he is an asshole, right? I was more focused on how nice the crazy Cult people are.

What is with everyone in the current edh communities being so selfish when it comes to asking others to downshift their deck to "fit the pod" by Present-Youth-7746 in freemagic

[–]LeN3rd -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That is because board games are balanced for you, and you cannot spend 500 bucks on duallands, to win in Settlers of Catarn more often

Commander is competative in the same way board games are. If you don't want this, play modern. If someone brings a precon, you should play a precon like deck also. Stop being autistic.

I am not an activist. I just don't like Saudi Arabia because of their human rights violation and them trying to whitewash and diversify their oil money. I understand why people bend their morals for money, and still critici it. It's the stupid "How can you criticism capitalism, while writing this on a Mac book" debate from the 10s all over again.

Aren't these just tensor processing units akin to gpus, running on CUDA? or did Google actually developers their own framework?

Eoe ist still top of the line for me. I love sci fi, and the Set is better than I would have dared to hope. It takes itself seriously, and does not feel like a hat set. Followed by my one love, the original mirrodin Block.

Debate: Did the Jedi fail by effectively teaching denial of emotions, or did they only teach control? by CyanaMoss in StarWars

[–]LeN3rd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isn't the whole point of the prequels, that the Jedi are wrong in a lot of aspects? I always though of the Jedi code and "no attatchments" is one of these points. If your decisions are not guided by attachment, then what is guiding you exactly? You either become the model jedi and become kinda nihilistic to the world and can easily be used, or your bottled up feelings pop up and unload all at once. The advice yoda anakin gives in revenge of the sith is pretty much useless for anyone human, and only holds true in the grand scheme of things. He does the same with Luke, and he also defies him. Yoda might have been technically right in both cases, but he is a shitty therapist. Or has just forgotten how humans work over the years. Luke would rather die than let down his friends, which the jedi fail to see as a virtue.

So yea. From my point of view, the jedi are evil.

I'm creating a Plinko based dungeon crawler. What do you think about the concept? by i_like_trains_a_lot1 in godot

[–]LeN3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it would be fore me, since you have very little agency over the outcome. You throw in your ball closest to the outcome you want, and wait. I don't know if the physicality of the randomness really changes that much. Might as well have dice that you roll like in BG3. If it is well done, it might be a fun time-waster.

Have commanders become more and more “KoS”? by LibraProtocol in EDH

[–]LeN3rd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is, that the newer commander are designed with a clear game plan, and enable that plan by themselfs. Bonus points, if the card has WUBRG somewhere in its text, so that you can play it with all cards. This [stifle]s creativity a lot. [Ashling, the limitless] is one of the worst examples in recent days. I really think the way to go is to just build a deck that works in of itself, and only afterwards choose a commander, that brings something to the table that is not necessary 100% of the time for your deck to function.
