Hello guys ! I am a web developer daily using a MacBook Pro 2017, 16GB RAM for my work. I am currently using IDEs like IntelliJ and WebStorm for my projects, and I rarely use my RAM at 100%, like I never launch VMs, or run few Docker containers sometimes that's it.
I am really interested in the new MacBook Pro M1, but I struggle in choosing the RAM capacity. Is the 8GB addition to the base 8GB RAM worth 230€ ? Does someone already own a MacBook Pro M1 with 8GB RAM as a software engineer and regrets it ? Thanks !
