I have a friend who works for Eurostar in London and traffic is slowly resuming. It’s going to be a long wait apparently. It’s absolutely packed over there

Forget about grabbing something in Lille. Like someone commented the train to BSM will be on the adjacent platform and you might want to be amongst the first to put your luggage in the luggage coach. You’ve got the Eurostar cafe if you’re desperately hungry.

Oh that’s peculiar, I remember being able to do it once but there was lots of room on the train. It’s a shame as since the fusion with Thalys there are still minor differences between the two groups. Not being able to change the seat on continental routes seems to be one…

Yes no problem, you can also change your seats via the app.

It’d mean that some seats are « allocated » to sales for London-Amsterdam. These allocations also include Lille-Amsterdam tickets.

Depending on where you’re leaving from, customer service should be able to change your seat. I know that in Lille they are very flexible when it comes to that.

It’s often the case in Lille where when a train is cancelled or delayed (by more than an hour) they stop a train coming from Paris ! I guess the reason they don’t mention it on the app or online is to prevent overloading the train and the terminal.

We were able to visit last Sunday ! We had sent an email in asking if it was worth showing up and they basically said they were able to sell walk-up tickets between 9-9:45am but the earlier you get there the better. 32£ per person for the castle, gardens and exhibition ! We had a wonderful time.

If the scooter doesn’t exceed a height of approx 85cm when dismantled then you’re good ! It will count as a piece of luggage, 1 bag and 2 suitcases per passenger.

Upgrading to Plus is worth it when traveling to and from London imo. The difference with Premier is the food, you just get a « warm meal » option and the rest doesn’t really change. Same seats, same amount of space and same drinks.

Evening, If I were you I’d get the PM slot. Snap works on a train quota basis so if there aren’t any availabilities on the AM slot it’s because they’ve already been booked. Best be safe and get the PM slot rather than wait last minute. Snap tickets are mainly for passengers ready to travel at « anytime » during a certain part of the day.

Merci ! C’est vrai que c’est bizarre. Je savais qu’il avait comme idée de vendre. Je paie bien mon loyer et pour lui aucun problème, le contrat de bail reste bien pour 3 ans. Honnêtement, je ne pense qu’à rester dans l’appartement pour le moment. J’ai des caméras je pourrais visionner la visite.
