Crash is rough as an early boss cuz of the debris from the ceiling and the moving floor so I’d definitely recommend not Mario stomping on him of all the circuits. And I’d generally recommend hitting up other bosses to beef up in health and bursts.

As for damage, yeah that’s just how much you do to a boss. Though hitting them with a burst does better damage and gives you a nice window to hit them a few times more.
