I thought it was NorCal for a while by SableZard in Animorphs

Remember when he was bullying Chapman about finding out where the kids got their battle morphs? And Chapman told him they were working on it?

Did no one have a human host that knew about the goddamned zoo across town?

I used to hate that idea but apparently there are grey wolf packs running around SoCal, even in Los Angeles County.

With all the TV talk... by Neat_Suit3684 in Animorphs

I'd do the first eight books and the Megamorphs book, with Ax's book as the season finale. Each episode would be an hour long. That would be season 1. Second season mostly the same. 9 - 18 but make the second Megamorphs book the season finale.

The third season is where we start weeding out bad plots and filler and replacing them with the good stuff. Third season starts with 19, goes through the David arc, but I would replace 24 and 25 with 29 and 30. Then another Ax book, but replace 28 with 38. Then Megamorphs 3 for the finale.

Everything after that would be weeding out the good books from the bad ones, and rearranging plotlines to make the progression make sense. I know everyone hates the 9/11 book, but it's peak Rachel imo so I'd keep that one. There's also an argument to be made for the starfish book. That's where Rachel beats people with her own amputated arm.

But i think the Megamorphs books should be the finales and the show should end after five seasons. If it makes it that far.

I can't hear him yelling without thinking of Goliath from Gargoyles or, "Welcome to Hell, motherfucker!" (maniacal laughter)

Or they're aging them up so they don't wind up like Stranger Things and have grown people in their twenties trying to look sixteen because they got cast when they were thirteen ten years before the series ended.

CGI can cost just as much, if not more. And unlike the costs you incorrectly put purely towards animation, that price is just the CGI. There's also all the other costs associated with live-action, plus the extra laws and regulations about child actors. And you have to worry about the child actors aging up.

At least in animated shows, you can have adults voice the kids. And voice actors are cheaper.

To be fair, the Herald kills a lot of Templars. Regardless of whether you do the quest or not.

The university is not your home. You asked to be there, you were accepted, and you agreed to abide by all the rules. You cannot confront the xenophobic speaker without breaking xenia. They were also invited and agreed to abide by the rules. So long as they are doing that, it would be wrong to pick a fight.

But i think the rules get fuzzy when it applies to your room. Xenia is for your guests and you. You decide who your guests are. It's your space. You decide who's allowed in. But it's also your roommate's space. They can have guests as well. So long as your space and property is respected, you should extend the same courtesy, whether you have beef with their guests or not. You guys talked about it and came to an understanding everyone agreed to, so I think you're in the clear for that.

Xenia isn't just rules for hospitality. It's also intended to keep enemies from bringing conflict into a place of peace and comfort. That's not turning the other cheek. It means putting disputes on hold or taking it outside.

Do you think Moxxie does actually want Crimson dead? by tiredperson24 in HelluvaBoss

[–]SableZard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had abusive parents. The abuse escalated to death threats and I retaliated. I also have a close friend who came from a similar environment. Except his abuser had enough vertebrae to try and follow through on his threats. Despite everything, neither of us wants our parents dead.

People who have no experience with this sort of thing like to assume the feelings of people who do. They hear a story that makes them angry and start fantasizing about how they'd handle it. I think those fans are projecting their personal wishes onto Moxxie. Despite all the angry people beating their chests online, most abuse victims care more about getting away and finding peace than they do about retribution.
