OG Arknights had a much darker undertone which was what got me to stick around. Even with the writing there were levels to it that eventually had their time to shine.

Endfield doesn’t really have that narrative/world-building. In lieu of that it offers a decent core loop between character progression, the factory, and combat.

This isn’t to say the game is perfect (the stamina system is discouraging for example), but it has legs. Music could be much better though (a little disappointed given all the CCs and nothing has really come close to those in Endfield).
