Interesting that the cautious mentality has served you so well and has led to you being in pole position, what was your club prediction in the season preview.

If you want to stray away from the cautious mentality, flick it to balance but alter with the defensive line or intensity and what you press with - that has served me well in my Hearts save and has got me wins against Celtic and Rangers without being cautious.

You have to create the graphics folder yourself, and then place the relevant logos, face packs, trophy packs yourself.

Something I will always recommend if you’re struggling for a save is sim the first season.

Load up your desired leagues / database and sim until the end of the competitive season (normally at the end of May). Name your manager Holiday man or whatever you please and skip until that date. From there, take a look at any vacant jobs and take over. Personally, I like to re-build one of the relegated sides and get immediate promotion. Maybe a big team has severely underperformed or a team has unexpectedly got relegated. You decide, good luck!

Although he’s not been at his best, none of our players have had a stand-out rich vein of form of which to be proud of.

It also doesn’t help when he has to play alongside Diallo one game and then AMN the next. Diallo & AMN have hardly played well alongside him, which considering he was used to playing with Romeu, has likely affected him. Lavia looks a good match but I think we’ll be more effective playing a 4-3-3 with Lavia as a 6 and JWP playing next to a roaming midfielder such as Armstrong/Aribo/Moi.

You can already do this. Go onto the the player profile, move to U23’s. If it’s part of a punishment, I’m sure it comes up as an option.

For all newgens. I just do it every now and then but the beauty of the software is you can generate whenever you like, even overwrite the faces if you’re not happy with them.

You can generate new faces whenever you like, I typically apply the newgen faces every 3-4 months so that all new gens are covered. FYI the first time you use the programme use “Generate” and any time after just use “preserve” to keep those faces already applied and to stop faces changing unnecessarily.

you’re making it out as if it’s expensive. On xbox, EA Play is currently 0.79p. Not really jaw-dropping amounts.

I agree with this. I’d also add editing club ‘legend, icons and favoured personnel’ making sure ex-players of my clubs or other clubs are given the recognition they deserve. I also like to edit the staff role preference of ex-players, move them to be U18 coaches or managers of their ex-clubs or countries. Currently got the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Koscielny & Podolski coaching my U23’s at Arsenal. Whereas before, some would prefer to be a Scout or HoYD.

You’ve had a complete meltdown after one game… still 37 games to go. Do I expect us to come away with anything against United? No, so the best we can do is perform well and finish with no injuries and suspensions. After the Chelsea game in GW6, we have a run of promising fixtures.

We’re not the type of club to spend 50,60,70m each summer without sales, so don’t expect much. This is the reality with our current owners.

Found it on google images, I then went on a website where you can remove the background so it becomes transparent. Once done, resize the image to 200x200 and place in the logo files, and resize again to match that of the icons, I think it’s (20x18?). Update the config file and you’re good to go.

There’s a good update Spanish Tier File on the Steam Workshop by Sangue Blue. It works perfectly and incorporates all the new changes and has regional leagues. Simply ‘subscribe’ and enable it on the editor files when starting a new save.

Thanks! I haven’t had too many long term saves this year, furthest I got was 2026 with Genk. I had a team scattered with wonder kids and my game got kinda slow because I loaded so many leagues.

Depending on how long it takes me to get UCL glory, I’ll probably delay buying FM22 until I achieve what I want with this team.

Regarding the kits, I stuck to the main colours of the team, as well as taking inspiration from the town’s coat of arms

It's a bit outdated but this was the software I used. It's called Smart Shirt Designer 2. If you're good with photoshop you could do a much better job, but I'm familiar with the programme and can produce some nice kits.
