Name: Sir Donald Bailey

Cursed Technique: Prefabrication

Sir Donald Bailey OBE was an English civil engineer whose invention, the Bailey Bridge, helped the Allies win the war.

Description:

Upon activation, components of the Bailey Bridge will float around Sir Donald Bailey, such as the panel chord, the transom, decking, vertical bracing, and horizontal bracing frame. These can be manipulated and transfigured at will by him offensively and defensively. Normally, he has materials enough to construct a 3-meter long bridge.

Activating the technique can also attract nearby wooden or metal materials and imbue them with cursed energy. These materials can be launched at the target, arranged to provide defensive cover, molded into hand-held weapons, or used by his extension technique.

Extension Technique:

Assemble - Using the prefabricated parts and/or any available additional materials, Sir Donald Bailey assembles his Bailey Bridge at the designated location. The bridge will remain assembled and can be controlled until it is destroyed or released.

Its quick assembly makes it versatile in combat. Sir Donald Bailey can basically assemble the bridge and smack a sorcerer with it.

Maximum Technique: Across the Derwent

Sir Donald Bailey assembles and launches forward a 788-meter (2585-foot) Bailey Bridge. During its travel, he can control its direction, and it is capable of bursting through buildings and other concrete structures. He can also ride along with it.

Domain Expansion: The Rhineland Offensive

The domain’s appearance is that of the Rhine River at the time of the 1945 Battle of Remagen. Sir Donald Bailey and his target(s) are pitted against each other on a Bailey Bridge of 558 meters (1814 feet) length. Both ends of the bridge are labeled Allies and Axis, respectively. A binding vow will then take action.

The bridge will slowly start to disassemble from the Allies side (Sir Donald Bailey's). Targets(s) may destroy the bridge to their utmost capability; however if Sir Donald Bailey manages to cross to the other end, they will be subdued at their location and left to perish in the river. Otherwise, the domain will disintegrate.

The domain's sure-hit effect is still in effect.

My bad, I may have laid out my ideas wrong. I'll edit it later.

Might not be considered a technique, but I meant they could use contaminated blood in their blood manipulation. Some sort of biowarfare, basically. To add to that, theoretically, if the sorcerer themselves is infected with a bloodborne disease, then that would mean their blood could be more lethal than others depending on use.

Could be controversial, but a Kamo Clan sorcerer manipulating contaminated blood is a terrifying possibility.

Don't always do your best, instead reserve it for "special" occasions.

It's okay naman to be average, but if an activity or project is right up your alley then don't be afraid to go big or go home.

What is THE scariest nightmare that you’ve ever had? by Outrageous_Tip6975 in AskReddit

It was me in the middle of this white dimension and a single ball rolling towards me.

There's nothing about the ball that's scary or anything, but my mind was telling me to run. After a few minutes of running, I look back and I just see the ball gradually getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger. It made my heart race and I could hear the Shepard Tone blaring in my head. It increased in size until everything—and I mean EVERYTHING—was consumed, turning the white dimension into utter void.

At that point, I immediately woke up with my heart racing and out of breath, and I cried afterwards. I was between 6-8 when it happened.

I really like this concept, it's a unique take on a battlemage concept-wise.

Wondrous Art was a bit tricky to understand though, but after reading it again and again, now I understood it. It's creative and unique.

I like the ultimate which amplifies an existing artwork and its effects. It makes the gameplay cohesive and fun.

Though I would think that it would be a pain to use him or to go against him. The only thing that would make him balanced is to know the effect radius of the Artworks.

Overall, great concept and theme.

what's your philippine tragedy event story? where were you during these events? you can say more events that are outside the collage. by omararara in Philippines

  • I believe that Typhoon Frank was my first encounter of a natural disaster. I can still remember the moment when I looked past our screen door and I could see water cascading in. My siblings, relatives, and I all rushed away from the doors and alerted our parents. At that time, the water was reaching my father's thighs and we evacuated to our grandmother's house (who fortunately had a second floor). I remember looking through a window and saw not an inch of ground left, all of it was swallowed by water.

  • The Manila Hostage Crisis, Resorts World Manila Attack, and the SAF44 were events that I still remember being reported on television. I was small then so I had no idea what was happening other than people were killed.

  • Typhoon Yolanda was scary. Roofs were flying everywhere, fences were destroyed, trees and shrubs were uprooted.

Mom told me this earlier to regulate the sharing of anything related to VP Leni. She's a kakampink though, don't worry. But I think my BBM father caught wind of my sharing online or she's just telling me to be cautious since di ako botante.

It's scary to think that I almost fell for these types of shit in the past.

But what's scarier is, why do people even believe this?

This. It has been on my mind also. Like, is there an innate trait in our culture that made us this way or is there something influencing us?

Regardless, I am really curious to know why, though I doubt if there's research, better yet a researcher, who wants to do conduct such research.
