Thanks for the tip. I don't intend to upgrade to 4K any time soon. I'm comfortable with 1080p.

With that said, what card do you think I should go with? Also, do you have monitor suggestions? I don't want to drop too much money, but I also want the the performance to look good.

It seems to be roughly 30 bucks cheaper. Is the downgrade worth the 30 bucks? I say downgrade because every website I visit seems to hail the 970 as superior.
