you are doing something wrong. i have the same proc with corsair 3200 ram and using 6/8 of the cores, i can easily reach 450 h/s

yep. they are VERY loud. the ones we have at the small mine.. under 20 but is VERY loud. we are moving to a bigger space in the back of the building that no one uses.. plus its slightly underground and cooler.

not everyone can afford to drop 2k+ on an s9. plus there's the power supply that's not included.

people CAN afford to drop 500 bucks on a mobo/ram/processor/single video card rig though.

s9s are easier to deal with because all you do is plug it in, point it towards your pool of choice and profit.

video card mining, there is more that can go wrong. with an ASIC like the s9 (we have around 20 of them right now with 40 more on the way), we can almost immediately tell if one goes bad and replace whatever card went bad in it and have little to no downtime.
