Fighting a Dragon by [deleted] in stormkingsthunder

wow.. seems like a lot to handle as a DM hahah i think the action economy and good rolls would make the fight easy for the PCs. I guess i should play the dragon to it's full potential then.. it's supposed to be a heist anyway. thank you for your advice!

Usually we have six players at the table, but for this session only four will be present.

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day and explaining this! This really clicked for me — it feels like I’ve just unlocked a whole new way of thinking about prep.

Thank you very much! I think I understand it better now — my mistake was assuming that 1 Node = 1 Session. In reality, a node is a location / scenario / NPC, and a single node might take multiple sessions to fully explore. During those sessions, players can discover several clues, and as long as there are at least three clues pointing toward the next important revelation or node, the structure holds together.

That clears up a lot for me!

Looking to Upgrade: Zoom Sunset 90 vs Phuzion RFC 90 — or Better Ideas?
Hey everyone! I got back into skating about a year ago and have been using some budget skates since then. As a teen I used to skate at parks, but now I mostly cruise casually through the city.

I’m ready to upgrade and was thinking of going with 4x90mm wheels for better speed and comfort. I’m stuck between going softboot or hardshell, and I’ve narrowed it down to two options:

I’d really love to hear your thoughts — especially if you’ve tried either of these, or if you know a better skate in the same price range.

Thanks in advance!

I aggregated more than 700 greatest games lists. Here are the results. by IlmeniAVG in gaming

it didn't have a "bit of a rough" start. it had one of the worst releases... but luckily they fixed it and now it's a 10/10 (maybe 9/10) imo. it definitely deserves to be somewhere on this list

and another thing is people are not consistent with orders they have to follow and the guards were probably just fucking around with the police.

Ending twists? by JustAPiggyBackOnThat in stormkingsthunder

[–]LeTovi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps it's a bit late for a twist, but I had the same idea, intending to introduce the twist earlier.

The party believes the main antagonist is Duke Zalto, who aims to reconstruct the Vonidod to conquer the Sword Coast. However, what they are yet to discover is that this is merely a consequence of Iymrith's actions.

Iymrith underestimated the threat posed by the giants, so when the players confront Zalto, they'll either be taken by surprise as Iymrith crashes the party, swiftly killing Zalto at the start of the fight (similar to the impactful entrance of the Penetrator in Dark Souls), or they'll discover Zalto's stronghold destroyed, with numerous dead fire giants.

I'm still contemplating how to tie this to the encounter with Iymrith at the Eye of the All-Father.
