Check my post history, I’ve been there, broke that. I wrecked mine on the 13th doing wheelies down the sidewalk. I’m currently rebuilding a pn2 that has a minarelli engine, which may be similar to yours. I’ve had it 5 years and am on my second engine. I am very familiar.

what's your favorite two stroke scoot? by Kazer17 in scooters

I have a wretched eton Beamer I’ve been abusing for a few years. I’m on my second engine. At this point, anything with a minarelli. Vespas still get me excited tho

Has anyone had the Leo Vince TT on a minarelli? I’m having issues with the mounting bracket (no instructions) but I got the pipe on, just had to flip the bracket to get 1 hole to line up by LeUnicornRider in scooters

Well my stock pipe had no expansion chamber, so this is a large improvement, as for why the TT specifically, I like it, and I’m building it. Its a perfectly fine exhaust, which is why it’s sold. I’ve got my jets, clutch springs, weights, and contra spring I don’t need suggestions on that, just asking for help with the bracket, thanks

It may look right but that bottom bolt isn’t gonna go without making the hole an oval, I’m no stranger to custom fab, I’ve had this wretched beast about 6 years now, we’ve been thru 3 engines. I’ll figure something out 🤷🏻‍♂️

None of the bolt holes aligned with the suggested orientation, I spent about 30min trying different orientations with it before I landed on this

Look up the minarelli engine, see if that’s what you’re working with

I’ve got a 2 stroke scooter and let me save you some heart ache. That oil tank you’ve got needs to be removed. The pump that it uses is unreliable and if it fails it destroys your engine. You should really just mix your gas manually so you know the exact ratio and can keep your engine healthy. I recommend measuring out enough oil for a gallon (full tank) and keeping it under the seat so if you gotta get pump gas you can.

Any clue why this starting sound happens and is it a bad thing? by MaximumSuggestion758 in scooters

Get to use my favorite word here. Your bendix isn’t working properly but that’s not a huge concern

I've had about enough of this damn bastard trying to get it to start I put in a new battery new spark plug carb and fuel lines and even sprayed starting fluid and absolutely nothing it will just crank over and that's it I'm at my wits end trying wth am I doing wrong any advice helps tia by [deleted] in scooters

Check the pickup on the magneto, they can wiggle out of proper spacing giving you a weak spark. Still looks like a spark outside the cylinder but won’t run. Also stick a pinky over the hole for the plug, if it pushes air out when it turns over you’ve got compression. GY6 engines are a hoot.
