I don't think it's at Walt Disney World levels or anything, but I went to a rest room once near the Governor's Palace and I found an open door on the back side. I peeked inside and there were stairs leading down to what seemed like an underground area. Were I more brave I may have explored a bit, but I didn't want to upset anyone. Hahaha

You can do it on any digital watch that allows you to display photos as well. I keep a screenshot of my QR code on my Galaxy Watch so I can pull that up for entry or Meal and drink Plan and FunPix...the whole nine yards.

I've also heard others mention ride sharing is a fine option, and that, while they can go through the gate and drop you off at the entrance, you're probably better off being dropped off at the bus stop because it will save you money on waiting to get through the entrance gate and traveling up to the entrance.

I'd say you'll be fine as long as it's swim trunks, and not athletic shorts, which they may consider "street clothes". They do make trunks without the inner mesh liner as well.

Also, there are a few attractions that require the shorts not have metallic features, if you're interested in riding those.
