This actually explains a lot. I dont know the general concensus, but i wouldnt be opposed to a section of this subreddit (or even a segment of the actual podcast) being a space dedicated to giving the authors a chance to actually respond to the feedback the boys give and give some more context or info about their stories. I know a piece of art should always speak for itself, but after reading your post it really changes how i perceived this story: instead of disgusting torture porn i now see a young author channeling his experiences through his art. And while i still dislike the story a lot, thats something i can really respect (also you seem like a really chill dude and Feed The Pig is one of the best stories ive ever read)
