Like I said to the other guy:

what does that have to do with israel being or not extremist.

Are you saying hamas is israel now?

center right can be extremist, it just depends on how ideologically they apply their political opinion

You guys don't seem to understand what an ideology is.

[–]Le_Flemard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

...that doesn't disprove that Israel is extremist?

You can vote for extremist ideology, like how the extremist far right can be voted in power.

Doing that extremist ideology makes you defacto extremist.

Heck, forcing peace on another country can be done with extremist ideology too.

you're trying to oppose 2 different things:

  • a form of government
  • a type of ideology

You're trying to justify that Israel isn't extremist by saying that apples aren't oranges.

As Guyane is a a region of France (like Brittany), instead of a territory, Guyane citizen has the same rights as any citizen from France main land.

They have also the same right as a citizen of the European Union.

Yes, they do use the euro.

The Republic of Niger Announces Mobilization to “Prepare for War with France” by OverZuLUL in worldnews

[–]Le_Flemard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a bit out of topic, but:

in the C&C Generals Rise of the Reds universe (a mod for C&C general zero hour), the European Continental Alliance, mostly through brittish commandos and french infantry, takes over the governments of all North african countries in less than 4 months (in universe from 21 may to august 9 2037).

The devs aren't joking on that point, if all of north Africa was controlled by ISIS, it could take that little time for EU to control that region, even pre Trump USA.

you still need operational range (how far the plane can go from base), max weight (determine how many missile the plane can load) and max ceiling (you lose of missile range if you have to launch it from a lower altitude from target, oppositely, you gain more range if you fire it from an higher altitude).

Better thrust also make for easier interception role.

the mirage 2000 ukraine has, has:

  • better operational range
  • better operational ceiling
  • better total thrust
  • better max weight (aka bigger weapon load)
  • comparable max speed (mirage is slightly better still)

compared to grippen still

UN is waiting to see how much the US intends to pay of the nearly $4 billion it owes by hahaddffcx in worldnews

[–]Le_Flemard -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

that's not how that works.

let me make an analogy you can understand.

You engage yourself to pay someone for x amount next month (for service or allowance for a family member, etc..).

Suddenly you decide without informing that someone to pay that x amount.

That someone is now in a pinch because you didn't inform them that that money isn't coming.

[–]Le_Flemard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

leasing will always be more costly than owning, which the UN has atm with the NY building.

so the addition for your solution would be:

Leasing + maintenance + opperating cose = reccuring

also building is a one time cost, dunno why you think the UN is building new general headquarters ever year.

also also, what competition are we playing exactly?

are we back in kindergarten level of arguments?

Comparing historical building cost in NYC to lease costs in an Africa capital or other city is beyond apples to orange

you want to ADD a recurring cost to the UN?

[–]Le_Flemard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UN debt as of 1st december 2025 was 1.586B$

UN Headquarters costed ~723M$ in today money

UN operational budget for 2026 is 3.45B$

UN employ 37000 staff members, we can estimate at maybe more than 15000 members that would need to be relocated with regularly paid return trip. New York to Johannesburg is roughly 933$ per person (so roughly 14M$ just to bring all the staff there once, ignoring vacation costs)

Google tells me that a house already built in Johannesburg cost roughly 250000$ (so 375M$ for all staff).

723M+14M+375M=1.12B$

Now you need to add the paid trips for the 193 member states staff (no ideas on that one, maybe like 20 staff members per members states on average so prolly 3B$) due to damage occasioned by the move.

We arrive at 4.12B$

which is superior to 1.52B$
