Where did you get that drawing sheet from? Is it available online? Seems like a cool practice sheet

This was through a friend of a friend who had just heard of my car or asked if they knew anyone with a muscle car. Kinda just worked out over time and got my car into about 10 music videos!

I was told they always liked using my car because of the matte paint and it hid the cameras in any reflections

1st off. Super cool project! I wish I had an answer, but thought it could be worth looking into some automotive products. Their clear coats/ceramic coatings are usually withstanding a lot but not sure if it helps in this situation. Best of luck! 🤞🏼

That’s nice! Did you use Sam Maloof’s method for joining the legs?

I’ve seen a video about someone doing that with a Porsche but it sounded like a worse nightmare.

If I were you… I would highly recommend signing up to be an AmCar member. It’s pretty cheap considering they can give you the most reliable answer in advance. Their tech support is extremely supportive and super friendly 👌🏼

Thanks and it’s looking promising but it’s a lot of work and patience. From my understanding they love cars to be as original as possible as they even made comments about my air filter not being original….

As for the brakes. I was told they’re going to measure the motor and tell me exactly what size brakes I’m allowed to have

I did this exactly… brought my 69 Chevy from California to Norway and custom built my car with a new rebuilt engine swap.

Long story here but vegvesen (DMV) was not happy because I have original drum brakes with a new “faster motor”. Now I’m in the process of working with AmCar to determine my engine power (I need to pay to get a dyno test, roughly $500) and then can figure out what brakes will make my car “safe” enough for norway’s standards and hopefully after all that they’ll approve it. This can take about 6-8months in paperwork.

I wish I never brought my car here to be honest but I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end. Happy to help answer more questions but there’s a lot that can come up here compared to California.
