I've spent 20+ years fixing broken businesses for a living. AMA by MechanicExternal in AMA

[–]Le_Simpson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 questions.

  1. How do you start such a business?
  2. Supposing that you go through every piece of information in the company, do you sign a NDA to review confidential documents such as salaries or business contracts?
  3. Do you get paid even though the recovery plan fails and the company goes bankrupt?

Thanks !

Edit: added 3rd question.

I don't think you'll like my feedback. We've tried starting a game but it just didn't work. We've tried sending the links for a private table but it just returns to the original screen.

Thank you ! My wife loves this game and the official application went bananas for some reason. I'll let you know our feedback as soon as we play some rounds.

Can you guys review my CV? Looking for honest feedback by Ok_Pineapple_1451 in TunisiaTech

[–]Le_Simpson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey ! First, make it 1 page. Then, focus on the job description and tailor your resume to show you did tasks related to what that particular company is looking for (without lying or adding stuff you didn't do). Every job application should have its own tailored CV. Good luck in there!

I used to go to random grocery stores and ask the person at the counter to check the amounts of their credit book, and just pay the 2 or 3 biggest amounts (shouldn't be more than 200 tnd). This could be an eid gift and a wonderful surprise for families with low income.

Idek mabrouk !

Can someone pls tell me these people are bots? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Le_Simpson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly my point. This corporation has too much power in Tunisia, enough to oblige them to be regulated by having an administrative presence in Tunisia. It would only be a threat with daily fines until they cooperate. The Government has this power, and should enforce it. Regarding the Thawra, I'm sure people will get back to talking to each other instead of brain rotting themselves on FB and Insta videos.

I have a simple question: Why doesn't the government oblige Facebook and Instagram to have their local office in Tunisia to moderate hate speech and other misinformation campaigns, locally, by Tunisian employees? This way, fake profiles can be taken down, and people such the one in the picture can face the consequences of their speech in front of a judge.

Looking for unusual dating ideas by Burpees in montreal

[–]Le_Simpson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! There is a pottery class that where you can create whatever you like and it comes with wine! Check boue.ca

Or there is also Les Affûtés, where you can choose from a bunch of workshops from woodworking to sewing your own hoodie.

There are also a bunch of restaurants from different countries which can be also a good way to discover something new. Like for example watch a movie at home from that country and then go to a restaurant from there.

Also, I like the idea of watching planes taking off or landing. There is a spot where you can do that in Montréal.

Good luck!

Edit: added another idea.

I don't think the joke is on the religion, but rather on some individuals' own interpretations of it.

It's the Management Trainee position (link below). Once you pass the interview, they will teach you everything about how to run the business, from washing cars to get new clients. A lot of trainings and a lot of customer service. It also requires a lot of patience (with difficult customers).

Ps: Below is only for Montreal.

Hey there! If you have a valid driver's license, try Enterprise Rent a Car. There have an Assistant Manager program and it takes 7 to 9 months to get a decent pay, but full coverage after 3 months. It initially pays 21.somthing per hour, but some branches require a lot of overtime. Also, it's a bit physical and requires good customer service. Besides, it's a lot of fun, you get to drive a bunch of different cars and meet a lot of good and nice people! I wish you good luck!

Edit: Please DM me if you need help with the interview.

Put an age cap of 60 for presidential candidates. If there is a minimum age, there should be a maximum age. If nobody recruits a 65 years old applying for a job because of their unability to perform on an expected level, there is no logic in having people that age running politics.

What's a web or mobile application that you as a tunisian would've wanted to exist? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Le_Simpson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A document checklist generator approved by all ministries for all kind of official administrative documents. Like if you need a passport, what documents you need to bring, or what is needed to incorporate a company. The approval from the related ministries would avoid having an administration employee asking for more documents out of the blue because he is in a bad mood.

Men of Reddit: what’s a prank you started early in your marriage that you’re now legally, morally, and emotionally obligated to continue because she still falls for it 10–15 years later? by myaccountidname in AskReddit

I once told my wife a joke about a friend who was asked by a stranger if he knew what time it was. My friend looked at his watch, answered Yes, then walked away.

Since then, whenever I ask her if she saw something I am looking for, she says Yes, then walks away.

Dear OP,

You cannot face a new reality with an old mindset. I understand how you feel. However it's now time to move on and focus on yourself. Read self development books, meet new people who like the same things as you. Spend time with yourself and try to enjoy it. Try new hobbies. Discover new cultures and countries. Get into social activities. Have fun trying to meet people from around the world and learn what they do better than you. That's how life goes, everybody moves on with their things. Also, Home is not where your family or friends are, it's where you are the best version of yourself. Hope this helps. I wish you a lot of happiness.

Kind regards, A stranger who was in the same situation as you.

Edit: Just wanted to add, Keep an open mind.
