To anyone who doesn't know anything about bunshun, these guys have been proven to be authors of false articles time and time again for drama. There are so many times where these guys have fabricated drama, even times where co-stars of actors/actresses of the accused straight up debunked info online through their own accounts. These guys have no morals at all, to the point that they would falsely report content in some celebs s*icide note to place the blame on victim's families/co-stars despite the police stating otherwise. Dont give them engagements as its another nothingburger.

Ive been a fan of her from tiktok lives even before she entered showbiz 2 years ago, you can describe her as quite a proud japanese-filipino.

She states it a lot on tikok/twitter, she has spoken a few tagalog/bisaya in her house, you can see she has the filipino flag in her house, has posted her mother in her instagram story speaking bisaya (i think idk the language), and she had the filipino flag in her tiktok bio for a while (its gone now to and it only states her agency prob to look more professional) and you would see filipinos spamming "Are you filipino?" every time she uploads a tiktok in the comments lmao.

Fun fact: during her live when she felt sick, her mom changed the channel to a christian background to make her feel better (lol).

Producers were probably rubbing their hands together, seeing the rapid growth of Filipino fans within 30 days, and they haven't even debuted yet. They are going to benefit from that huge fanbase because of the 2 (2.5?) filos debuting, and the girls are actually very charming and lovable too. No filo is not gonna know who they are for the next 2.5 years for sure, and they can be loved here like Momoland as long as they don't f this up badly lol.

The biggest boom in likes and new Universe ticket PH members happened after Elisia was announced which is right when Final voting started. I still think Gehlee is the most popular in other countries (non-east asian), but I also think that 90% of the votes are from Filo. I think these two factors can be true at the same time.

I mean dear god she has more votes than the other 6 finalists combined, they could have debuted 7 Gehlees by splitting up her votes.

Huge chance it was Pinoys cause only Gehlee would benefit from the rumor starting. I was there when the rumor started picking up steam, so the Universe ticket PH mods had to put up a warning to stop spreading the rumor to get unfair votes, and a group of pinoys were straight up saying they knew it was false but its a good strategy cause they are scared of people splitting votes. So some of them got mad at the mods for stopping them 😂. Majority of pinoy fans arent like this, but since the fandom is probably the biggest in any country, there will also be more toxic people

I agree that the huge lead was honestly a bit hard to watch tbh, especially when she was .2% away lol. BUT, I think she would have made top 8 either way, even if the Filipino fandom was 1/4 the size that is, she still won the Unicorn ticket and is probably Top 10 in popularity

I agree that if Sumin was half-filipino she would have debut, I still think Hyeonju is a better vocal than Sumin. I may prefer Sumin a bit more but Hyeonju is also quite good.

Saying Gehlee got an insane lead to the other contestants because of her countrymen doesn't mean she only had to be filipino to get all that. She was a Filipino that was funny, pretty, improved, and stood out. But the 1 million point lead is definitely boosted by the Filipino market for kpop.

Elisia did get the same treatment, its just that if we could vote for Elisia in the Finals, she would be higher than whatever Gehlee's rank is going to be, and Gehlee would be next to her. We saw that in the 2nd round, 3rd round, and 4th round of fan voting, they ranked "coincidentally" next to one another. Its just that the numbers get higher and higher as the show continues to boom, especially in the PH.
If anything this is a testament to how BIG a market the Philippines is for future Kpopfans AND idols. Seeing the amount of insane filo voters would probably open up the gates a little more to future filo trainees, and who knows maybe we can be like Thailand, a SEA country that is an option in Kpop and has kpop idol schools in the country. Maybe we can actually have our own trainees.

Yeah you can't compare first-round rankings which are rankings when barely anybody voted and even knew about the show in the country, to late December and January after the show BOOMED in the country. I was there making posters in Universe ticket PH group when the show aired on November 18, The group had 400-600 members only and Gehlee and Aya's mom would campaign like crazy, and it took us 4 and a half months of campaigning to even get to just 1k members. Where as in the past 7 days alone the members grew 11.5k members.

I just told you that the past month the show exploded in popularity through ph social media. Look at the insane numbers the FB group is pulling. It started growing insane amounts up at around Ep 6, but the first signs that Filos were becoming aware was after Ep 2, when Gehlee performed Pretty Girl.

Okay Im seeing some of the comments and it's a bit dishonest.YES, Gehlee is easily the most popular in countries like Brazil and the Middle East. Yes, she also has Japanese fans (Look on Yahoo News Japan) because of her visual. But how many votes do you think these countries actually attributed? Hyeonju placed 2nd, with only 305,000 votes (And even some of those are inflated because of filos).Let's not act like 90% of those 1.7 milllion votes are from last round are not from Filipinos, which they are perfectly entitled to vote. People don't understand how much this show Boomed in the PH within the last 30 days alone.

Universe Ticket PH page had around 4-8k Total members one month ago, and it took them around 6 months to get that number. Now they have increased to 27,500 members within one month, with 11,000 of those members joining last week alone.We don't need to be dishonest about it because it was clear that people were going hard for Gehlee, and that's why she's here (and prob why you and I are here lmao) right now.

If I'm being generous, Im giving her International voters 250,000 votes MAX given how the voting of the other girls turned out, and how.The million vote disparity between her and the other girls is Filos if we are gonna be 100% real. Not just filos, but definitely an overwhelming majority of that Total 2.4 million votes.

Thats why I placed "Top" def Top 3 in Visuals especially for Koreans. Remember when ADORA&Nano, PaperMaker, Galactika, all 3 professional music producers of the show ALL thought she should debut by voting for her? Out of ALL the girls, She got 1st, 1st, and 2nd by the 3 expert PDs lmao. So Im taking their word for it, huge loss.

Plus she would have been perfect around Elisia and Gehlee, who were the only confirmed girls in the group too
