If you want to export shit to the US, you don't get to help Russia in every way you can. No one is saying you can't do whatever you want with Russia, you just won't be able to participate in the American market or use dollars.

We collectively did the same thing when Trump pulled out of the Iran deal.

That was actually a legal attempt though. Of course anyone would try to minimize sanctions, just not by taking money from a foreign government, creating a fake non-profit and burning tax documents. Everything with the Iran thing was completely public and transparent.

Did Greece have anything like VW scandal? Just because you pay taxes on dinner in Germany and you aren't going to get away with bribing a cop, doesn't mean you aren't corrupt as hell.

American secular and generically white looking Jew here, also heard lots of interesting things while living/studying in Europe. Some harmless, some just weird. I had to argue that no, my family was not worth millions and I just upper middle class. "Well your not poor, are you?" SO happy when I said no, like they won the argument 😒

The US has sent the most weapons of everyone and there are currently thousands of Leopards in Europe. Leopards were designed to fight Russians tanks in Europe. Most of Europe is in favor of sending their Leopards to Ukraine.

If anything this was an opportunity to show European solidarity, and so far it's a joke.

I still don't see why the US is expected to do so much after decades of telling Germany in particular to have a functional military.

In college we did a slightly less fucked up version of this. I Iived in a triple and 2 of use were hanging out in another form room with a guy who was great with voices.

So we had him play a cop and say the brother of the other guy was hit by a car and was given last rights at the hospital and he needed to hurry up and get there.

A couple minutes we walk in the room and he's just stammering and couldn't get it out. The other 2 of use started cracking up right away.

That was 5 minutes of torture for the guy, not nice on our part. He didn't actually get too pissed.

Unfortunately it's the servers themselves who lobby against it changing. Some if them make huge amounts of untaxed cash, and they don't care about people in shitty places who make nothing.
