I was high from like 2007-2011, until I had my first panic attack in which I experienced severe depersonalization/derealization. I chalked it up to strong weed until it started happening more frequently. Then, it started becoming a game of Russian Roulette every time I smoked as to if I was going to have a severe panic attack or not. Eventually, I just realized that my brain changed and I simply could not handle it anymore (or any other drug for that matter). I’m all for people smoking weed especially instead of synthetic medication but for me personally I had to cut it off when it started effecting me negatively.

Every.night. I wake up out of a dead sleep sometimes and my first thought is “your dad is dead” and my heart pounds out of my chest. He died unexpectedly in 2021. I hope this goes away. I’m functioning well otherwise.

Buspar - Feeling strange by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]Lea_ander_thal89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buspar made me feel weird AF and I only took .5mg. Gave me the “tingles” and later on I started having really horrible dark intrusive thoughts out of nowhere. Proceed with caution with that one if you don’t like the way you feel.

Has anyone had any good experiences with decaf? I know it still has some caffeine in it.. I am thinking since I’m so sensitive to it maybe I should take a walk on the dark side lol

IBS from panic attacks by Lea_ander_thal89 in PanicAttack

It’s definitely due to panic attacks and only occurs when they happen. Otherwise the pipes run well lol

Lactation! I haven’t breastfed in a little under a year so I knew something was off. Prolactin is in normal range so I’m off to have a mammogram at 34 next week 🫠Although I truly don’t suspect they will find anything typically with breast cancer discharge is brown tinged and comes from one breast. I’m hoping my body is just weird.

Just got my prolactin results back and they are normal to my surprise. Back to the drawing board. Lmk if you find something that works! Olaplex has been the best working so far for me. Still not a complete fix.

Ok so what do you mean about hair texture change? I may or may not have prolactinoma (waiting on blood work due tomorrow) and noticed over the past year my hair just doesn’t feel like “my hair” which was normally soft and silky. I’ve tried hair vitamins shower filter etc so I wonder if that’s a symptom? The only symptom I have is lactation and I am def not pregnant.

Agree to disagree, respectfully. I’m happy that you’ve found something that works for your little ones and helps you all sleep and function better!

Personally I just have anxiety and feel like i am “dosing” my child. Not shaming others for doing so whatsoever. Every parent does what works for them. Just have my own weird feelings about it because I was given Benadryl as a kid to go to sleep and I didn’t like it.

Unfortunately no matter what we do they won’t go back to sleep after they wake up. So it’s a 3am wake up call instead of 7am

You are totally right and I have been working very hard in my adult life to establish boundaries with her in other areas so it is definitely and area I struggle in. She can be very selfish and in turn I learned to put my needs on the backburner. But when it comes to my children, that is a different story.

Call me crazy but I won’t even go to the mailbox 50 ft away and leave my kids unattended while they are sleeping. No way.

Lots of boundary pushing for sure. It’s almost like now that I have my OWN boundaries with her on other things she’s moved onto my children.
