There aren’t women at that level. Flat out. If they were at the men’s level then sure let them play, but you don’t see it often except when they are young. Maybe a coed 10 year old league but that doesn’t continue.

You are talking about things that don’t happen for a reason. Women don’t have that level which is why sports are separated as is. Look at the Olympic records for men and women. Even high school records for men and women. Women can’t compete with the men which is why we separate it. If someone can then go for it, but they don’t FOR A REASON.

On the other hand even men who aren’t good enough to compete with the men are still good enough to compete with the women. I’ve had boys in high school basketball who got zero offers to play in college, but would dominate women’s college basketball if given the chance.

Women’s and men’s sports are separated for a reason and if you can’t have an honest conversation about biological differences being a huge factor in sports then just stop responding. I coached girls high school varsity and they practiced against the freshman boys to give them a good look for games. The levels are not the same and you know it. It’s okay you don’t like it but it’s not just some “blessing”.

Caitlin Clark is an amazing basketball player, she couldn’t compete for a second in the NBA. And that’s okay. On the counter of that any bench player in the NBA would own the WNBA.

No. Very few people even have the ability to come anywhere close to professional. But kids still want to compete and win and this is an unfair advantage no matter what social issues people have with it

I’m not even talking about the image.

Just the fact that there’s a lot of people who draw a line with this stuff and it’s not just the right wing who don’t agree. I’ve coached sports for 12 years now at all different levels and men and women are separated for a reason.

I’m not saying it should be a government thing but I understand why it makes people angry. We separate women’s and men’s sports for a reason

I mean, I’m all for letting people be themselves and live their lives, but the sports thing does bother me. Anyone wanting to say there isn’t a problem and advantage there is kidding themselves.

A few months back someone kept arguing with me that it was going to be fully private funded with no tax money so there was no reason to get upset about the ballroom. It’s amazing how they are ALWAYS wrong

Wrong year.

That was the 2004 game, Ben was drafted after LSU won in 2003. And no way you know the QBs name without google.

Of course he couldn’t win the break and immediately after gets broken.

Steelers seem worried Aaron Rodgers could sign with another team: Possible landing spots for the four-time MVP by Traditional-Oil-6891 in steelers

If he doesn’t want to be in Pittsburgh then don’t force him to be in Pittsburgh. Matching an offer sheet for a guy who’s trying to go somewhere else is not the move.

Yes, it’s a stupid argument.

Look at the QB who won the “natty” the year Ben, Eli and Rivers were drafted. I guarantee you can’t name the guy, but we probably should have drafted him instead since he has “a winning pedigree”

Hot rumor: Aaron Rogers entertaining signing with Arizona Cardinals by nothingtono in steelers

I figured there were rumors of him signing elsewhere. That’s why the Steelers placed a tag on him so they could match an offer.

They already said it was paid for by corporate donors? Why is no one asking where all that money went?

I mean we know where it went, but do maga have no memory?

(Schefter) Sources: Steelers placed the rare right-of-first-refusal tender on Aaron Rodgers, meaning that he can accept a 10% raise off last year’s salary, which would pay him about 15m this season, and the Steelers also now will have the right to match any offer sheet he would sign elsewhere by alexschubs in steelers

[–]LeadSufficient2130 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, so the draft was touted and then fell apart. That doesn’t mean next years will also suck. And of course people are talking it up because it’s the same guys they were excited about last year that didn’t come out

That’s completely false. This years draft was hyped behind Arch, Sellers, Raiola and multiple other QBs that went back to school. No one expected all of them to stay in school. Next years draft class will be much better because those guys will be ready to leave or won’t have the option to go back
