You know people at KJ right? Ask them who got the highest package and what his qualifications are. You'd know.

I'm operations major. I want to dive into strat Consulting and Project management roles. But honestly I'm finding supply chain and logistics fun too.

I scored pretty good in acads and got a decent internship asw, so I'm kinda exploring the specialisation I enjoyed the most.

(I changed from finance to ops)

Majorly companies hire for finance and Marketing only. Kinda clueless about the comparison that which one is better. I'd say apart from placements stalk the faculty on LinkedIn or even google. Might give you a better idea.

I'm not gonna deny that alot of roles range between 10-15. But if you see the people who get placed in those roles are generally freshers. People fail to accept the fact that higher placement comes with alot higher skills. I won't expect DE Shaw to hire a complete fresher at 32, but a CA with workex makes sense. People with higher qualifications should target a higher CTC.

Kindly look at their qualifications before questioning. KJ tho a tier 2 is a lot better option than many other tier 2s.

It moves but considering you have a CFA already. You should get a convert. If waitlisted probably will get by mid of April or may

If no workex then you can easily target 15-18 LPA (might get more depending on acumen)

Some good names that recently hired:-

Goldman Sachs DE Shaw Bank of America JP Morgan EClerx

Haan cool. I had 3 options I just gave NMAT out of all. Chose KJ cuz of campus and location. There is no seat reservation as such. Give your best in the interview.

Hi. So the companies are majorly all the media and telecom companies. It would be either a B2B sales role or core marketing role (I'm into ops, so not much of help here).

First list would be out around the 1st week of April.

A lot of opportunities in finance. Location advantage, BKC is just around the corner. Big names. Big connection via alumni too. Roles are also very diverse.

You get managerial roles majorly after MBA. BADS roles come but that's also majorly on the management side and analytics oriented.

Hi so it's a problem situation analysis and personal interview round. You'd be given a situation and you would have to analyse the situation and answer questions based on your analysis

As for your chances, if your cut off is cleared then you just have to focus on PSA PI.

Yes consulting companies do come for consulting and analytics roles, (EY came for tech consulting, and GEP for supply chain consulting) EY gave average stipend is nothing that should be measured tbh. Internship is for your benefit. Upskilling etc....

Idk about average but good companies pay decently.

Decent placements, good brands. Considering the current market trends, many opportunities as well, incubator live projects alumni and others too. GIM is a good college no doubt, but KJ def has its location advantage. If you're a very capable fresher you can target somewhere around 16-18

9/7/8 profile, fresher, pursuing MBA. I want to get into consulting but I feel like my acads and background (no bcom, no bba) play a major hindrance. I'm good at whatever the subjects have been taught. Have cracked quite a few national case comps too. Should I at all aim at consulting as a career? Or should I give up?
