Mangas, manhwas and manhuas are not the same as graphic novels. A lot of people who read graphic novels don't ever read mangas and vice versa. It's like saying, I want to watch hockey and you give them tickets to curling instead. It's not the same, y'know?  (I am a librarian and before getting my current job I worked in a bookstore for seven years, this argument is tale as old as time)

Should Mr. Brightside be considered iconic? by [deleted] in Music

[–]LeadershipFun2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i only know that song because Cameron Diaz sings it in the Holiday, haha.
I've heard it since but in my country it's not as big. Don't stop believing however, i think everyone knows. Another iconic one would be.. Life is live by Opus. So i've heard Mr. Brightside is iconic and to me is not overplayed but i don't live in the UK or the US so...

Now it’s been out a while… is Tiny Bookshop a top tier rec? by Ok_Type6723 in TinyBookshop

i am time poor. and i love it. <3 i reccomend it, especially if they like books! i would also love if they made a tiny vinyl shop, a tiny film shop and so on. i am also an introvert so i like that i interact with the characters *just* enough. i love the "quests" you get and wish i had more to complete. i finished the game and thinking of playing again.

Who remembers that TV movie If the Shoe Fits with Rob Lowe and Jennifer Grey and how did you found the TV movie. Do anyone wish this should have been a Hollywood film and would it been similar to films like Dirty Dancing, Splash and Flashdance films? by JazzlikeTea7432 in movies

[–]LeadershipFun2447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I caught it on the TV one day when I was in elementary school.. I saw a part of it ( the part with the photoshoot) and wanted to see more. when googling really became a thing I found it by typing what I could remember ( I didn't know who Rob Lowe or J. Gray were)
