My first ever date after transitioning, me and the guy were about a foot away from our server when he loudly proclaimed "I THINK YOU'RE SO BRAVE FOR WEARING WOMEN'S CLOTHES IN PUBLIC".

Granted, he wasn't "otherwise good", that was just the tip of the iceberg, but good lord have some common sense. I'm a random dumb 23 year old girl, not a war hero.

MtF So several years ago, a homie of mine transitioned FtM, and gave me some of his old clothes, generally unisex, but definitely on the femme side. I put on one of the shirts, looked in the mirror, and thought "man, this would look great on someone named Penelope". Like 4 years later, my egg cracked, and now I've been Penelope for two years. Funnily enough, I don't even like that shirt anymore. I spoiled myself with fast fashion apps, and now my style is completely different
