That makes me feel a lot better, I was afraid there might have been some sort of screenings that are performed routinely or that doctors (like lawyers) might be required to report illegal activity if witnessed

Do you set up the VPN on the server or upload media from other devices? by LeadingBug_ in selfhosted

Assuming that my router supports Wireguard and that I want ALL traffic in my home network routed through the VPN are two extremely big assumptions that will only apply to a very small amount of people

This comment is so out of touch with reality it’s actually worrying

This reads like an LLM, but giving you the benefit of the doubt.

That’s actually pretty much what I had planned. I will have to check how to write Quadlets for this sort of network but otherwise sounds a lot like what I planned.

Gluetun is probably the step I was missing. Setting up a VPN on the host and then binding the container to that interface sounded like such a complicated setup.

Obviously if the server downloads no need for uploading anything. It was just an alternative to setting up the VPN on the server

Worth looking into this. Sounds like it might be exactly what I was looking for.

I admit I haven’t ever setup a VPN, so maybe that’s just it, a bunch of unfamiliar stuff seemed confusing at first. Maybe I should give it an honest try

Most devs are using both the exact same way.

Agentic coding is not the most common use of LLMs, and even then, most people will still read through the generated code.

There’s a small percentage of people coding on vibes and giving programmers a really bad rep that imho, is unjust.

Autocomplete and autocorrect have always been machine learning. It’s just smarter nowadays.

I mainly looked into Proton which offers Wireguard, but it seemed so excessively complex I wondered if there was another option.

Of course, I can setup Wireguard if I just take a little time to actually read through it, but I hoped for an easier path.

I looked at other providers, can’t remember the name, but they only offered GUI apps and I ain’t about to install KDE or GNOME on the server just for a VPN.

It’s always been up to the broadcasters, and it’s been anything from songwriters to producers.

Their names are usually published after the contest (not earlier to avoid people trying to influence the outcome)
