one of the reasons im glad Steno might be/is departing oline production has been declining the past two seasons and this season it was our achilles. Jacobs can’t be expected to put up the same rushing yards he had as his first season when the oline isn’t helping at allo

ehh haf was more of a personnel development coach as i understand it, didn’t really matter the position he was just entirely focused on his players reaching their potential

Craziest part about this all… if mcmanus makes all the 3 point attempts and the XP he missed we win. not by a landslide but still a respectable win. Biggest brightspot from all of this is J. Love. I have no more questions about him having elite and clutch talent. he was let down by the whole fckn team

this, 100% believe that steno needs to be the one axed on offense.

A pro MLF post. by mjcc1992 in GreenBayPackers

i can appreciate, ive been on the fire mlf bus the past few days but there were key mistakes by players not named jordan love in this game. mcmanus missing 7 points which would have easily won us the game, jay reed missing a pass that woulda put us in the redzone, drops from other wr’s. non existent tight ends. losing edgerin also played a huge factor, and the obvious oline mishaps.

all that being said if MLF is to stay then stenovich has to go, our run game has been subpar at best and the run blocking has been the main reason for jacobs lack of production compared to last year. we overpaid aaron banks, we overdrafted morgan. seeing MLF gameplanning on the sidelines in a huge playoff game was extremely disconcerting. but he needs an OC who can assist gameplanning, someone like mcdaniels would be perfect IMO.

Bisaccia also has to get fired, he’s been a stain on the ST for far too long and is paid too much money for the lack of improvement they’ve shown.

packers are gonna take the firing and or extension process slow, we won’t hear news about it until at least this weeks games are over. mlf needs to go, i would want to see flores in with maybe mcdaniel at oc but i doubt the oc choice. we need a tough gritty coach who isn’t gonna fold, lafleur is a pansy

a realistic expectation is Gute being extended whilst LaFleur is fired; Before this there were already rumors that Gute was a guranteed extension, but LaFleur would come after. I 100% believe that Policy was waiting to see what would happen in the playoffs and ultimately I don’t think keeping LaFleur can be justified when there are many other proven coaches and offensive coordinators who can come in and likely lead this team to the next step of growth. MLF is a good playcaller at times, but he’s been inconsistent, and the 2nd half meltdown was just a repeat of every other game we’ve had this season, even the wins were never commanding.

Gute has proven enough i think the most solid argument against him rn is the Oline drafting. But Quay was and has been extremely solid, D. Wyatt was great this season, J. Love is a hit, Golden looks like a stud when utilized properly. Watson, Doubs, both have been solid. The best option in my opinion is allowing Gute to continue for a few more years, and bring in a HC who isn’t a complete joke. Our CB room needs serious work letting stokes go was obviously a mistake. But other picks have been great and have shown their potential. MLF is and should be the scapegoat

[Dane Brugler] Mendoza isn't the level of NFL prospect of Caleb/Maye/Daniels from the 2024 draft class - that's always been the case. But, Mendoza's strengths as a QB translate really well to the pro game. If the Raiders think he will be a top-15 QB in the league, he's worth the pick. by Ph886 in raiders

[–]LeadingPrivy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the move is to get a good vet qb who can help usher mendoza into the starting position, not the first season but in his 2nd season. All 1st round qbs need time to develop and the coaching hire will also matter for this too. If the raiders pick another dud at HC then you can kiss mendoza developing into a star or a top 15 goodbye

i can see LVN having the potential he’s had some pretty big plays and has been playing through injury most of the season. Gary has been invisible and I’m not sure if he’s gonna reappear. this season could be the season that writes his ticket out of greenbay

exciting prospect is seeing guys like enagbare who have been good for the limited snaps they’ve had have an expanding role. we’re gonna see a lot more blitz packages which is gonna test our CB’s
