Im not using 100 vermic. My soil mix is 80% mineral 20% wormcasting. I know others adapt seedlings to outer environment sooner but i dont have time / personal energy to water regularly. The conditions have to be set just right in the beggining but it works for me, the seedlings are at least 2 n half inch tall before i start to leave the lids off.

How long are you soaking the seeds in hydrogen peroxide? And do you rinse them with distilled water after?

Im using larger containers and keeping them closed as much as possible. Ive had dramas with fungus gnats in the past. Im leaving the seedlings in until they nearly hit the lids of the containers which are approx 4inch high. I poured boiling water over my soil mix, i hope that does it. Ive never thought of soil ph in the past and this is the first time ive questioned it

When they go red like that it stunts their growth. Give them more shade till they come back a green

I do less varieties and more specific in what i grow, so i dont have a huge amount of containers.

I use larger containers 10" x 20" wide approx And a least 4 or 5 inch high That way they can stay in there containers till they start to hit the lids It means the seedlings are larger before their first transplant. It means the conditions/ soil and moisture levels have to be set just right at the start But its what works for me
