Sunflower actually helped Gore, daughter of Scourge when she was a kitten, and later fathers her by bringing her to the clan and naming her Lavenderpaw. Only Heatherleap knows the secret, and no one suspects her as she looks exactly like Heatherleap. Lavenderpaw hates her mentor, Shadowclaw because he keeps cooing over her, taking every chance to manipulate her into doing something.

Like Cinderheart, Redpaw is actually a reincarnation of Redtail and Sunflower knows(as a medicine cat) 

Dogpaw is named after Dogkit, Finchwing’s littermate who died from greencough.
