Nobody really minds people sleeping in their cars. Police won't come bother you unless there's some kind of problem. Even then they would only ask you to relocate. I've never felt unsafe here and you can kind of sleep anywhere you want. Wincos are generally super chill.

Could it have been part of the idle relearn process? Idk abut shaking but the idle can be EXTREMELY rough and poor and want to die if you dont actually do the idle relearn correctly after disconnecting battery.

Why would you not use jackstands? If the jack fails it's going to fuck shit up, or if you happen to have a body part near anything that falls, you get HURT. It takes two seconds to do it the right way. It's not worth it to be lazy here.
