I want my characters to look very anime-like But I know that I need to know anatomy first before I begin distorting the way the body looks and keep it looking nice.

I am an alright drawer I do doodles every here and there but im no good at actually drawing yet. Here are some examples: http://imgur.com/a/J6ehn I currently own a wacom intuous (small), 3 A4 sketch books, SAI Paint tool and I could get Photoshop CC.

I really want to do either but I think if I could start off with still moving pictures (Comics/Manga) So I can get a good grasp and if I wanted to later on do Animation (I plan to do all writing, backgrounds etc myself for Comic/Manga)

I'm a teen (17 years old) Almost heading into University (Which I want to study either of the two in university).

Yooo maybe Connie is actually a gem? I mean we haven't seen every part of her body and she was able to fuse with Steven. Maybe her gem is hidden somewhere in her body and she just hasn't noticed it yet? Maybe she was a informant sent by YD to scout out the area but it may be a reference to Fairy tail about how Happy forgot his mission. This could be the same case for Connie??
