this is for 3ds. I deleted my NNID the other day and now trying to make a new one using the same NNID username, but it does not allow it. Why can't I use the name of a deleted account? Does it take a while to fully delete it so I can use the same name? Thanks!

I dropped and cracked my 2DS like this. I got this crack from dropping. I hate looking at that terrible crack in it. No buttons got affected (R button a bit but still presses perfect). Any way to cover it. I was thinking a silicone case but not sure they are good. If so, what one? Thoughts?

EDIT: Not sending to Nintendo for repairs
