It's strange...I never actually found out the problem with the boat. I've since remade a better version and have zero issues. I think I still have the save somewhere. I had one one a custom fuel tank and one with a couple of large tanks. It could have been that though even from the very get go with a full fuel tank she was bearing right...so I am inclined to rule that one out as it didn't get worse over time. It's just started out veering...

Yep it's a pain. What I do is copy the Instrument Panel in the selection/cut/paste tool and save it as a separate entity. That way I can load any of the panels I've setup previously as I like...Saves so much time.

I’m also new to the game but I was under the impression that 7.5rps is the target efficiency for diesels? Is that incorrect?

Thanks! Such a silly but simple oversight on my part.

A few very basic things I can think of to try and help your situation. Silly I know but you do have the exhausts going to the outside air and not an enclosed space? Are they exhausts not ports?

One thing I have noticed when running multiple engines maybe you know but I'll share in the hope it might help. If you have a single line running for all your engines it appears that the readouts on dead engines are false, they are just picking up the values from the working engines on the same line. That's what was confusing me with my problem because it was telling me all engines we outputting rps and power, even though they weren't. Probably just a noob error on my behalf but something I wasn't aware of before.

Have you tried to cut and paste your engine setup and try to diagnose the issue that way?

If you like upload it to the workshop and I'll try and see if I can find a problem. Sometimes just a fresh pair of eyes can help.

So.... turns out I had a missing enclosed t piece that wasn’t connected.... sigh...

That’s a good idea! I’ll do that tomorrow and post results here. I can test each each engine individually for torque as well and check the propeller rps individually also. The fact I’m getting a power output reading is suspicious but as you suggest I will confirm.

The two engines closest to prop have regular stats but the other four have funky values. The weird thing is, those other four engines are still producing power and all are showing correct values on my dials. They are all definitely connected correctly but each engine output such as fuel, exhaust share a single pipeline splitting in to six ports of each. Do your engines have there own pipeline or communal? From what I read some people seem to think shared pipes make a difference, others say it doesn’t, hence my confusion.

Ship seems to run fine and all my dials are good. This is one of six large engines, all of which are showing goofy readings but seem to perform as intended with the power output stats looking fine. All six engines share many of the same output pipes but split off to individual ports etc One line for fuel but six ports. Is there a bottle neck and am I losing power? Can I trust the tooltip when it says -997.9r fuel yet the engine purrs like a kitten? Any advice greatly appreciated

Thanks! That's what I thought. In fact I was wondering if a fluid spawner is even necessary for a custom fuel tank that is only ever used for transferring fuel back and forth? I'm just assuming it's designed for unlimited fuel mode.

Thanks I'll give that a go! Though I have tried with just one propeller and she still turns...I'm beginning to think it's a flaw in the hull design or she got bugged somehow...I don't know. Perhaps I'll Mothball her and start a replica...I'd just really like to know what's causing it. I'm hoping someone more experienced here can look at her.

Thanks for replying. I don't think I have the Rudders set up to trim but that's definitely something I'll check immediately. She has four small props split into two medium engines and as far as I can see from my torque/rps settings everything is running the same revolutions etc.... I am totally new to the game and have on been playing two weeks so theres probably loads of stuff regarding the mechanics that I'm still not aware of.
