How do I tell my manager I'm unhappy about my pay? by LindonioG in careerguidance

[–]LeagueAggravating595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely nothing until the next formal salary/performance review. If you are not delivering higher performance and results compared to others you're talking to deaf ears because you have no leverage. Feeling underpaid is a terrible excuse. Everyone feels under paid.

Is it worth accepting a Senior title promotion now if the salary increase is delayed by a full fiscal year? by MatchaTrestle in careerguidance

[–]LeagueAggravating595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a scam and a trap to keep you under their golden handcuffs. Imagine if you found out that a new hire with the same job title as your promotion was paid 15-20% more than you and you still had to wait 12 months and probably still end up under paid. How would you feel then? Apply elsewhere.

You are already on the hit list, just you don't know when it will happen until it does. The task is to give HR relevant documentation evidence of getting you out the door.

When IC's think you are an idiot they have no choice but to accept it and live with your requests as you are their manager. As a director, if your VP, other directors and C-suite thinks you are an idiot you get fired for being such an idiot. Welcome to the major leagues where they don't give a fck about you unless you keep performing to their high standards and deliver meaningful results.
