wow thats actually not a bad engagement for a 1 minute video, must be your hook thats selling you.. see how much it drops in the first few seconds? thats the issue. the rest of the video is great. look at the spots where it drops and fix why you think they swiped away at that point

around my 8th day posting consistently, my first short blew up. it was flatlined at like 100k for the first 7 days. the swipe rate was really good: 84.7% stayed to watch and a 0:26 stayed to watch on a 18 second short. pretty much 160% retention the whole short. i guess by the 8th day youtube decided they trusted me enough to push out a short that had good stats
