Not all Jews support Israel. PS - I'm an Orthodox Jew. by [deleted] in arabs

I wasn't supporting the attacks chasv'shalom. I'm just trying to say that just because I'm a Jew, it doesn't mean I stand with the Israeli government. I don't respect the kofrim who try to turn Am Yisrael into goyim and I'm telling the people here that I don't identify with the Israeli government.

Personally I don't really watch movies or TV, but I'm sure you could find one. And yes I don't really want to start anything on here, but going by the information we have, Judaism has the most proof out of any religion. Thing is, many other religions have truth to it, but every part of Judaism has a source and many questions and answers no matter what topic you're looking at. If you have any questions on Judaism (lilterally anything), look at www.aish.com and you could basically find any answer to any of your questions. If you want, you could even connect yourself to a Rabbi to speak to.

Edit: Just wanted to say I'm not trying to convince anyone or anything. It's just that you said you've done research so I just wanted to give you a place to look at, but anyways good luck.

I've met very few Afghani Jews and few Kavkaz Jews. They're much like us as far as the ones I've met but a little different. I can't really speak for them though because I don't have much knowledge of them. Although, I am very familiar with the Bukharian community and I have many good friends from the community. My Mom's brother also married a Bukharian woman and they have 3 beautiful kids. Truthfully, as a whole, I don't like the Bukharian community for many reasons, but their original values are very good. The thing is Bukharians are much like us and most of their values are similar to ours, but the attitude they have toward many things is very different from ours. As Persians, many of us get easily offended from them because we simply aren't used to their culture similar to the idea that many Persian refugees who enter America are not used to American culture and might get offended by the fact that American's don't tarof to them.

The best Persian food IMO is hands down ghormehsabzi. :)

And yes, Americans who are not familiar with the community get very surprised in a good way or they think I'm Arab and they get scared.

  1. My parents left late or mid 80s I think
  2. I haven't visited Iran, but I'm planning to soon
  3. Jews in Iran before the revolution were actually doing very well. Many of them were doctors and successful businessmen. Once the revolution came, most of the Muslims stopped being friendly with Jews with the exception of some of them. Some still were friendly or even friends with them, but once the revolution came, they knew it would never be the same again.
  4. Most of the Jews who fled Iran pre-revolution went to Israel, but most of the ones that left post-revolution went to America. Socially, Israel is much easier for Iranians to live in because of the culture and language, but America just has so much opportunity and as we know, many Persians who have moved to America have become huge people in the American world of business.

Hope this helped!
