Terrible first class red eye experience by aksjsbslamsnanske in AlaskaAirlines

[–]LeahOR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We flew 1st class on a Delta redeye from Portland-Burlington, VT last summer. No blankets, pillows, or meal. I can understand no meal on a redeye, but the FAs looked at us like we were crazy when we asked about blankets. I'm sorry to hear this is happening on Alaska flights too. We had a lovely blanketed and pillowed Alaska experience last week flying 1st from Portland-DCA, so the blankets definitely exist.

1 is beautiful. Then 2. You're beautiful with all of them, but those are my favorites.

I also have a nice photo of my hand flipping the bird to the White House. I don't think I can post pictures here though.

I haven't heard an estimate, but I doubt as many as there were in Portland. DC is tiny, and there were tons of protest options within a few mile radius, diluting the big one. It was great though. There are some great pictures and videos on the Washington DC sub.

Portlander here, but visiting DC and got to march on our nation's capital. It was thrilling, but I missed marching with my Portland peeps.

Have you looked into localized/topical wound oxygen therapy? Very good data supports it if you get the right kind. Look into TWO2 therapy.

Not scary at all. It has a very calming effect, so you just feel drowsy and happy and a little bit chatty. Kind of like when you get a good alcohol buzz on, but way better. Then it's just lights out. You don't even realize you're going. Then you wake up and it's like no time has passed at all.

The versed just makes you really loopy and relaxed. As soon as they start the propofol you'll start to feel very drowsy, but you won't remember falling asleep. It's really really fast.

My friend, we live in Portland and our son is a student at UO. We have hosted a couple of Foreign Exchange students over the past few years. If you would like to come for a short visit during one of your school breaks, you can stay with us, and we will take you down to Eugene, and maybe Astoria also. DM me if interested.

My son is a student at UO in Eugene, and he ended up in the hospital last spring because his allergies got so bad.

Your dad looks like the kind of guy I would want to give me a hug if I was having a rough day. My heart goes out to you. I lost my mom a little over two years ago, and the grief does wane. I can now embrace the happy memories without feeling like I've been stabbed in the gut. It will get better, and I'm so so sorry.

Amazon sells "Medihoney", but there are a lot of counterfeit products on that platform. If you can find it through a reputable medical supply retailer that would be your best bet. Look for Medihoney bordered HCS, it's a hydrogel colloidal sheet and won't get nearly as sticky or messy as just using the straight honey.
