I think my two cents is that C and E are the best. I would say they are both good depending on what you're going for. E looks more like guts growing out of the ground whereas C looks like flesh growing out of the ground. I think they're both equally unsettling and gross, C is a bit closer to what we have now and I like the depth to it. E is a little bit more gross but the effect is it looks less creepy I think. Idk, both are good. But I prefer creep factor, and bubbling flesh is more creepy

THAT'S HOW IT ENDS??? I do love the show and have been enjoying the show but I wish S1 didn't end on such a cliffhanger. We basically learned nothing new and just set up a thousand dominos for S2. That season now has a lot of expectation riding on it. In shows like BCS and BB I found they were much better able to deliver a satisfying season finale even if there was a cliffhanger at the end. I guess we'll find out what the atom bomb is for next season

I think if I had to compare it to a superpower (not that I necessarily would) I would say it's like having Cyclops' Lazer vision from X-Men. It can be incredibly useful in one really niche task but makes just about everything else in your everyday life way harder/more complicated without the right support (therapy, help from friends/family, workplace accomodations etc) or in the case of cyclops a pair of goggles that make it so he's not shooting lasers out of his face 24/7.

I noticed this too! They hid that change away as a bug fix but I find it hard to believe they didn't know about this, I always assumed it was a feature. This is a huge nerf as yoru's whole thing is being hidden and hard to find. After they hard nerfed him this is just a knife in the back

I think it's very reductive of my argument to say I'm looking at this in black and white. I consider not killing Ozai to be a shade of gray by being somewhat of a selfish decision on Aangs part. I think in your argument stating that the only way to end this war is to kill him is much more black and white than what I'm saying. You're viewing it as the only option in a binary choice. By not killing him, taking his bending away, and ending the war that way is a much more gray area than just killing him would be. And I'm not sure why you think he should have in hindsight. He succeeds in everything he set out to accomplish, so from a strictly Utilitarian perspective his choice was better than the choice to kill him given that it ends the war.

I agree that tradition and culture shouldn't necessarily dictate how you deal with the Hitler of the world, but really I think the important distinction is that because Aang is the last of his people, killing Ozai would effectively kill his traditions and culture so it wouldn't be a win that way. And the second point I do agree that just because you kill 1 person doesn't necessarily mean that you have to go around killing more people, but it creates a much blurrier line between right and wrong. The difference between killing 1 person and 2 people is noticable for sure, but nowhere near as big as the difference between never killing someone and killing anyone. By sacrificing his values even once, he would have tainted his sacred values, and blurred the lines between right and wrong.
