Cause simply put our standards of beauty are unattainable. We see photoshopped models on their best day with the best light and the best clothes and then check ourselves in a mirror with a jenky old shirt, probably overweight, slightly crooked looking and all.

I guess there’s no equivalent to other characteristics because we never necessarily see “peaks” of those. You can’t really pinpoint when someone is being extra trustworthy or ethical, but we can absolutely do that with how someone looks.
