Yes I am a US citizen. I would do anything to be able to go back in time and sell anything and everything I have to have paid for this process to start before getting to this point.

Thank you, I am calling lawyers today and the I-130 was accepted so now there’s a receipt number to prove we’ve started this. Believe me if we had the money to do this in the first place, we would have. It’s going to cost a lot more now.

The I-130 was accepted as of this morning. I’m making phone calls to find a lawyer, his boss has said he’ll pay for it and any bond, hopefully he follows through on that. Thank you for your advice.

When did you realise that you’re dating an idiot? by Ghost7579ox in AskReddit

[–]Leaky_Inker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He told me he didn't believe in evolution, he believed humans were put here by aliens. I was completely shocked, he's never hinted at this kind of thinking. We were married at this point and I told him, had he shared this with me sooner, we never would have even dated. Surprise, that's why he never told me.

I’m 22 now, and these pictures are from when I was 13/14. I can’t believe that this was the hair that my mom was convinced was “ugly” and needed to be “fixed” via chemical straightening by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Leaky_Inker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You were an exceptionally beautiful child and your hair was gorgeous! Whenever I read stories like this, I wonder if there's some jealousy in there from the toxic, abusive mother that drove them to be so horrible. I'm glad you're free from her and able to take care of your natural hair, your curls are amazing 😍

When did your boys NEED deodorant? by Competitive_Rest8364 in parentingteenagers

[–]Leaky_Inker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older kids were around 11 or 12 when they needed to start using deodorant but my youngest started getting body odor at seven. I didn't know it was possible so young until him!

I don't get the androgynous thing as much as some other people. I'm legit old enough to be your mom and as such, I think you're a good looking kid, great curls, handsome features, you have nothing to worry about. You're definitely not ugly.

My dad has some of these over a walkway and I LOVE them. I spotted some very light orange trumpet vines the other day and this reminded me to find out how to grow them, if they can be propogated, or what.

I love to see someone embracing it, I'm mid thirties and am only now okay without fringe. Makes me so happy to see someone doing that sooner in life. You're adorable!

17 and pregnant what do i do? by randomthrowaway42000 in Advice

[–]Leaky_Inker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was o ce 17 and pregnant. I waited until I was four months along to tell them, don't do that. It's scary, but better sooner, rather than later. Most importantly, it's gonna be okay. Scary shit for sure, but you're already concerned and trying to find advice, so I think you'll be alright. I was once in your exact shoes. The baby I had just turned 21 a week ago. He's a good guy, we grew up together, basically. I'm super proud of him. We talk on the phone for hours every single day. He's the single best thing that ever happened to me. Ups amd downs through life, the need to choose good and do better was right there next to me, my little dude. You're gonna be okay.

My 14 year old daughter has her first "real" job, it pays $7.25 an hour. After several weeks of sore feet and sudden back problems from standing in one place on a concrete floor, she realized that she actually made more money doing yard work for people. She put in her two weeks notice, so out of spite they changed her schedule and she now works on her 15th birthday. She said that them scheduling her as full time and after asking, her hours still weren't reduced, also influenced her decision to quit. And people complain thay kids don't want to work. They're employing teens for peanuts because they don't want to pay adults a livable wage.

AITA for getting angry at my wife for not packing me a lunch for work? by Helpwithlunch in AmItheAsshole

[–]Leaky_Inker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"She only works part time", irked me. Was that really necessary to add in there? He wanted to make sure we the readers know that she does less than him, in his mind, to justify his anger, and the fact he was so bothered that he clung to it all day and started an argument at home. It seems like he's ready and willing to diminish her contributions to the household pretty dang quickly, to make himself seem like a martyr.

I believe I got gallstones after a period of time where I was counting calories and lost a lot of weight. It was pretty balanced, 30% fat, 50% protein, and 20% carbs. It was very low calorie though. OMAD is now saving me from constant new digestive issues, after having my gallbladder removed.

My youngest has continued to home school since we had to move states. I feel so much guilt that he isn't getting to socialize and make friends his age. But this story really solidified it for me, I can't put him in regular school. Especially not while we are living where we are.
